We were approached with a bit of a fun challenge: how to incorporate our Client’s traditional tastes into a modern high rise apartment in downtown Los Angeles. Functioning as a party pad for entertaining guests, with room for the whole family to stay over after nights out, this three-bedroom pied a terre needed to be fun but comfortable. Hive Home kept one eye on the view while bringing in the plenty of seating and alternating between soft and rugged earthy textures in modern shapes. The results are warm, cozy and metropolitan- perfect for sipping a pre-game whiskey and taking in the skyline.
