WEST VIEW
We are always inspired by the California landscape and the colors we chose for our West View project are no different. The soothing blues and greens are very reminiscent of one of our favorite places, Big Sur. These colors help soften the modern shapes in the kitchen and bathroom.
When you entered the home you came face-to-face with a blank wall (not the nicest thing to walk into!) The house had recently been flipped and the tiny kitchen had basic IKEA cabinets with very little counter space and an apartment-sized fridge. For clients who love to cook together and entertain guests, this was not a functional or welcoming space.
With limited square footage, our design needed to be thoughtful and provide our clients with a more functional home. We came up with several floor plans and this open layout worked best. We used every inch available to add storage, work surfaces, and even a 3/4 bath. Ta-da!
